Especially when our lives must confront with problems or crises that not only affect the physical condition but also affect the mental health as well. This article aims to present an understanding of the meaning of deep listening skills that are listening at a level of deep feelings and needs. The listeners have the right to choose that they want to listen or not. They must be ready both physically and mentally. Contemplating on what perceived through stories and feelings that expressed through words, tone of voice, facial expressions, and body languages. This understanding comes from the knowledge of experts combined with the knowledges and work experiences in organizing and facilitating the learning process in deep listening of the authors for more than 10 years. Including, the interviews of 6 people in the different professions who have experience in applying deep listening to manage problems in their own lives in terms of the relationship of the couple, relationship with family, dealing with people at work, dealing with various states within one's mind and the inner growth. The sampling group of interview included 4 teachers in Career and Technology and 6 students in Prathomsuksa 4 by purposive sampling. The samples of questionnaire of problems and needs of learning activities that focus on practical skills consisted of 33 students in Prathomsuksa 4/3 Bansrimaharacha Municipal School, Sriracha Municipality, Chonburi Province, semester 1, academic year 2017 by cluster sampling. The samples of this study consisted of 35 students in Prathomsuksa 4/2 Bansrimaharacha Municipal School, Sriracha Municipality, Chonburi Province, semester 2, academic year 2017 by cluster sampling. The instruments used included 1) questionnaire on problems and needs of learning activities that focus on practical skills 2) interview of teachers on students’ practical skills development 3) interview of students on practical skills needs 4) 7 Davies’ Instructional Model lesson plans in 14 hours 5) practical skills evaluation 6) learning achievement test 7) satisfaction survey questions and 8) Davies’ Instructional Model learning activities handbook. (3) to study satisfaction with organizing learning activities on writing spelling, Thai language. using skill exercises, Thai language subjects using skill exercises. The example were 30 students of Prathomsuksa 3 students who were obtained by selecting (Purposive Sampling). The research tools and data collection tools used in the research which were 10 learning management plans, spelling practice. These tools used to collect information. Descriptive statistics were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed Thai spelling writing skills of grade 3 students using the skill exercises at 86.5 percent of the students. It had spelling results after the learning activities which was 80 percent higher than the specified criteria. Index of effectiveness of learning management in writing, spelling, Thai language of Prathomsuksa 3 students using the skill exercises were equal to 0.7286 or 72.86 percent. The sample used for the study consisted of fourty-two Prathomsuksa 5/2 students at Lukmuang Mahasarakham School under Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, in the academic year 2020 by purposive sampling. The research instrument were 1) reading skills and spelling drills on words with final silent letter in the Thai language integrating exercise to STAD-cooperative learning method with the highest level of suitability 2) 6 lesson plans with 8 hours of reading skills and spelling drills on words with final silent letter in the Thai language integrating exercise to STAD-cooperative learning method with the highest level of suitability 3) a 20-item with 4 multiple – choice of achievement test with index of difficulty between 0.32 to 0.76, index of discrimination between 0.21 to 0.67 and index of reliability between 0.88 4) a 10-item with 5 - rating scale of the students’ satisfaction questionnaire towards learning with the reading skills and spelling drills on words with final silent letter in the Thai language integrating exercise to STAD-cooperative learning method with index of discrimination between 0.30 to 0.55 and index of reliability between 0.80. Data was analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, E1/E2, and t-test dependent.<br>The research finding were as follows:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;1. The efficiency of reading skills and spelling drills on words with final silent letter in the Thai language integrating exercise to STAD-cooperative learning method had an efficiency of 85.71/82.98 which met the criteria set at 80/80.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2. The Prathomsuksa 5 students’ achievement on reading skills and spelling drills on words with final silent letter in the Thai language integrating exercise to STAD-cooperative learning method after learning was higher than before statistically at the .05 level of significance.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;3.
