Results indicated that the usage of the word “HEART” in Chinese is a metaphor word that has figurative meanings referring to human beings, thoughts, feelings, personalities and locations. The figurative meaning of the word “HEART” in inverse morpheme words which contain two words with the same morpheme does not always have the same meaning, but sometimes has different definitions. It depends on the emergent meaning that appears in blended space and a relationship between the words that arrange to two input spaces. Morphemes alternation or mental spaces switching may have an influence on new words to have different meanings as well as making the metaphorical meanings of the word “HEART” different.
