Abstract

This article aimed to adapt the science of musical aesthetics, which is the science of listening to beautiful music and songs, especially those composed and written for children, to enhance their intelligence quotient (IQ) and emotional quotient (EQ). There are 7 areas of IQ and EQ, of which the fourth area is musical intelligence. It is a specific skill that is very essential and should be strongly promoted during childhood. Children of different ages have different IQs and EQs. Therefore, the selection of songs to enhance development should be in accordance with the child's developmental progress. Moreover, the content of the song can also enhance the language ability and environmental learning in each age range as well. There were eight songs chosen and arranged in the table of activities to enhance children’s skills and development. Each song includes lyrics, choreography, and learning content.
