The quantitative study collected data from 108 pregnant women using stratified random sampling. The tools were a questionnaire to measure knowledge about prevention and health care when exposed to PM 2.5, and a measure of awareness of problem solving and health care when PM 2.5 occurred. The questionnaire had a reliability between 0.51 - 0.89. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The qualitative study collected data by conducting in-depth interviews with 10 purposively selected pregnant women. The data were analyzed using content analysis and triangulation. The results found that pregnant women had a mean score of 7.55 in knowledge about prevention and health care in the event of PM 2.5 pollution, with a standard deviation of 1.18. They had the highest awareness of abnormal signs and symptoms when in a place with a large amount of PM 2.5, with a mean of 4.58, a standard deviation of 0.55, and had the least awareness of monitoring the severity of the PM 2.5 problem, with a mean of 4.31, a standard deviation of 0.65. In addition, they need information on how to self-care and deal with problems when faced with PM 2.5 pollution, as well as cooperation from all sectors to prevent and reduce PM 2.5. Therefore, education for pregnant women to keep themselves safe from PM 2.5 and cooperation from all sectors in preventing and reducing PM 2.5 pollution should be promoted.</p> Chompunut Sopajaree kruawan kamfoo Boonyapat Shatpattananunt Srisuruk Kietmaneerut Salisa Kodyee Nathamon Wuttipan Prapatsorn Thammetha Nilawan Chanthapreeda Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Science and Technology Phetchabun Rajabhat University 2023-12-05 2023-12-05 3 2 9 22 Effects of the Curriculum for Enhancing Competencies in Health Promotion of the Elderly by Community Participation on Functional Fitness and Quality of Life https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jstpcru/article/view/268279 <p>The purpose of this research was to examine effects of the curriculum for enhancing competencies in health promotion of the elderly by community participation on functional fitness and quality of life in Chom Thong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province. <br />This was a quasi-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design to compare the functional fitness and quality of life of the elderly at baseline and at the end of experiment. <br />The sample group consisted of 30 purposively selected elderly students who participated in learning experience activities with demonstrations and curriculum exercises for a period of 12 weeks. Data were collected using validated tools, including a personal data record form, a Senior Fitness Test battery, and a Thai version of the brief form of the World Health Organization Quality of Life. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired samples t-test. The results showed that at the end of experiment: mean scores of the functional fitness assessments, including diastolic blood pressure, waist circumference, upper and lower body muscle strength, lower body flexibility, balance and agility, and aerobic endurance significantly improved compared to those at baseline (p&lt;0.05); and mean scores of the quality of life assessments on overall and three components, including mental, social, and environmental aspects were significantly higher than those at baseline (p&lt;0.05).</p> <p>The results indicate that the curriculum can improve health and quality of life of the elderly. The tool used in the research was the Visual Studio Code program combined with the Xampp program to store data in the database and a quality assessment form for information systems used for inventory data management The statistics used in data analysis were mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The study found that the Inventory management information systems are Able to check product information, add products, delete products, edit products, sell products, display the remaining amount of products in the system, and calculate change and issue receipts. Then we analyzed the physical and chemical quality. The solvent extraction with hexane and ethanol used Hass avocado powder with a solvent ratio of 1 : 2 by weight. It was found that the avocado oil content obtained from hexane solvent extraction was significantly higher than the other methods (p≤0.05) at 62.15 percent dry weight. Physical quality was founded on the fact that the avocado oil color extracted with hexane had a darker olive green color than other methods; the color value L* a * b *, viscosity, and density values were significantly higher than those of the other methods (p≤0.05): 24.18<u>+</u>2.00, 7.42<u>+</u>1.50, 0.89<u>+</u>1.99, 59.13<u>+</u>1.00, 11.79<u>+</u>1.65, 0.81<u>+</u>1.88 percentage, and 83.75<u>+</u>1.96 mg/kg fat, respectively. The chemical quality of palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, octadecenedioic acid, linolenic acid, and antioxidants in avocado oil extracted with hexane were significantly higher than the other methods (p≤0.05). were founded at 24.18<u>+</u>2.00, 7.42<u>+</u>1.50, 0.89<u>+</u>1.99, 59.13<u>+</u>1.00, 11.79<u>+</u>1.65, 0.81<u>+</u>1.88 percentage, and 83.75<u>+</u>1.96 mg/kg fat, respectively. Samples were taken from 3 shops to determine the total microorganisms, yeast and mold by standard plate count using pour-plate technique, then the number of colonies were count and then compared with the standard of community products in the category of Phrik Larb 493/2547 stipulates that the total microbial must exceed 1 × 10<sup>4</sup> colonies per 1 gram of sample and amount of yeast and mold must not exceed 100 colonies per 1 gram of sample. The results showed that different amounts <br />of microbial contamination, shop 1found the highest contamination (total microorganisms: <br />4.02 × 10<sup>4</sup>±0.7 colonies per 1 gram of sample, yeast and mold: 1.10×10<sup>4 </sup>±0.54 colonies per 1 gram of sample) followed by shop 3 (total microorganisms: 1.22 x 10<sup>4</sup>±1.58 colonies per 1 gram of sample, yeast and mold: 1.46 × 10<sup>3</sup> ± 0.00 colonies per 1 gram of sample) and shop 2 (total microorganisms: 1.38 x 10<sup>4</sup>±1.6 colonies per 1 gram of sample, yeast and mold: 1.97 × 10<sup>3</sup>±2.60 colonies per 1 gram of sample), respectively. Samples were 385 LGBTQ<sup>+</sup> people in Kamphaeng Phet, using Cochran’s formula with the level of confidence at 95%. Tools used for this research was a questionnaire asking for the happiness level of LGBTQ<sup>+</sup> people in Kamphaeng Phet. Statistic used to analyze data was a descriptive statistic which were frequency and percentage.</p> <p> The result indicated that most of the LGBTQ<sup>+</sup> people in Kamphaeng Phet had a moderate level of happiness which was 53.25%. Followed by 28.05% of the LGBTQ<sup>+</sup> people who had the lowest level of happiness. Design and build a mushroom nursery with suitable temperature for mushroom growth. And compare the temperature obtained from the model with the temperature obtained from the mushroom house from the suitable model. There are 3 models of the model that installed the fan in different positions: 1<sup>st</sup> Model, model of mushroom nursery without ventilation fan. 2<sup>nd</sup> Model, model of mushroom nursery with ventilation fan at the gable and 3<sup>rd</sup> Model, model of the mushroom nursery with the ventilation fan installed in the middle of the mushroom nursery wall. The temperature was measured at 8 locations of the nursery at every 9 a.m. for 10 days. The results of the research showed that the installation of fans in different positions affected the distribution of air inside the mushroom nursery. The 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup> models had good distribution of air inside the mushroom nursery. The temperatures shown from 1<sup>st</sup> , 2<sup>nd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup> Models were 31.0, 28.4 and 28.5 °C. For this reason, Model 2 has the most suitable distribution of air and temperature for mushroom growth. Jack<em>.</em>, <em>Acacia catechu</em> (L.f.) Willd, <em>Cratoxylum formosum</em>, <em>Terminalia calamansanai</em> Rolfe, <em>Bombax ceiba</em> L., <em>Streblus asper</em> Lour. And <em>Pandanus amaryllifolius</em> Roxb.. The extraction method was macerated with 95 % ethanol. The antioxidant activities of all extracts were determined by DPPH method. The tyrosinase Inhibitory activity was tested by the Dopachrome method. The result showed that the <em>Acacia catechu</em> (L.f.) Willd) and <em>Streblus asper</em> Lour. extract had the highest DPPH radical inhibition at 90.95 %.<em>Murraya paniculata </em>(L.) Jack<em>.</em> and <em>Cratoxylum formosum</em> extract showed the highest tyrosinase inhibition of 19.68 %, followed by <em>Terminalia calamansanai</em> Rolfe (19.53 %) and <em>A.catechu</em> (19.20 %), respectively. This study revealed that <em>A. catechu</em> (L.f.) This research used a complete randomized design (CRD) for 5 treatments, including paddy soil, peanut, duckweed, paddy soil: peanut (1:1), and paddy soil: duckweed (1:1). The result showed that the duckweed had the highest nitrogen and total organic matter content. The average of nitrogen and total organic matter was 0.0439±0.0046 % and 72.80±0.30%, respectively. Using the mixture of paddy soil: peanut gave the highest rice seeding survival (98.10%).
