However, the lacking awareness of the fact that while working, the workers may face the physical problems or get sick, so they cannot work with the full performance as the organizations have expected. Therefore, which one is better between letting the workers come to work while they are sick – presenteeism; or allowing them to take a habitual absence from work – absenteeism; until they are full recovered?

Many studies on these issues and academic opinions pointed out in the same direction that presenteeism causes the loss of productivity to organizations more than absenteeism. However, nowadays, the Thai government still focuses on controlling the number of sick leave days of the officials more than giving the priority to. In the past, there was only a campaign for government officials to exercise that did not make any results.
2020-11-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 0 https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/kupsrj/article/view/247385Cynthia Enloe and Feminism in International Relations2020-11-25T08:46:23+07:00Preechaya Yossomsakdr.wanlop@hotmail.com
This article discusses Cynthia Enloe as a pioneer who introduced Feminism to International Relations (IR) under the argument that knowledge production in IR is based on the perspectives and experiences of men, especially white men. The method of study reliesmostly on documentary research on influential academic writings from Public Administration literatures. The article explores these modern Public Management concepts in terms of rationale, assumptions, discursive aspects, evolution and development, strengths and limitations and applicability and so on.

The result of the study shows dimensional comparison between various contemporary public management perspectives, including NPM, NPG and NPSin their theoretical backgrounds, perspectives and solutions for public sector development in Thailand.Based on the finding of the study, Thailand should pursue a “hybrid” style of public management consisting of all elements three modern PA perspectives namely, NPM, NPG and NPS as well as maintaining Thai national value of moral and professionalism.
