Knowledge in epistemology is the knowledge acquired by searching for the answer to what is true knowledge? Is there any real knowledge? It can be said that knowledge arises from three different sources: sensory experience. reasoning and inner insight materialistic concepts knowledge comes from the senses is to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch external things. mental concepts knowledge will arise; you have to think. That is, there is a mental process in order to know what to see, what to hear, what to smell, etc. The senses are only the devices of the mind. 2. Knowledge of Theravada Buddhist philosophy must rely on memorization which allows for consideration and the ability to act or prove on their own ordinary individuals still need education. listening from others to be able to enlighten and see as it really is except for those who have special qualities like Buddha who can discover the truth that has never been discovered by oneself without being taught by anyone. 3. Analysis of knowledge in epistemology that appears in Theravada Buddhist philosophy can be divided into 3 parts: 1. The part where both epistemology corresponds 2. The part that the two types of epistemology see differently 3. The part where both types of epistemology are congruent in principle but differ in details.</p> ภูมิภัชร์ อรุณรัตน์; กฤตสุชิน พลเสน Copyright (c) 2023 Mahamakut Buddhist University http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/mgsj/article/view/269824 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700
