The research method used for this study is Qualitative Research, involving document research mainly, such as books, articles, laws, and electronic media related to managing the Ban Don Bay area. Additionally, local information was collected from government officials, stakeholders, citizens, and community networks around the Ban Don Bay area via interviews based on research questions. Finally, the data was analyzed to achieve the research objectives.
The results of the research study indicated that the community network around the Ban Don Bay area was determined by both formal and informal laws. The formal laws included regulations for non-governmental organizations according to The Enhancement and Conservation of National Environmental Quality Act, B.E. 2535 (1992), coastal communities according to the Act on the Promotion of Marine and Coastal Resources Management B.E. 2558 (2015), and local fishing community organizations according to the Fisheries Royal Decree B.E. 2558 (2015). These laws mandated the participation of formal community organizations in managing fishing areas, aquaculture, and marine and coastal resources, thereby excluding informal community networks from participation. To ensure that the communities have a strong mechanism for the development and management of the Ban Don Bay area, a group of organizations, community enterprise groups, local communities, and traditional communities issued guidelines for managing the area. These guidelines stipulated that every sector, both public and private agencies, must reduce their power and increase the power of the people in managing marine and coastal natural resources. They must also review problem-solving, management, and law enforcement and allow the community to manage resources in public areas that are not owned by anyone based on social fairness for all parties and considering ecological sustainability. The author of the study suggests that the Department of Fisheries should register local fishing communities that occur naturally, while the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources should have legal duties to promote and support the participation of coastal communities and local government organizations.
Pongsagorn Thinkhotor Abhiradi Kittisiddho Jiddarom Rattanawut Copyright (c) 2024 วารสารนาคบุตรปริทรรศน์ Nakkhabut Paritat Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-04-30 2024-04-30 16 1 147 157 The Application of Shadow Puppet Engraving Art in Wall Decorating Product Design https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/nakboot/article/view/268073
This study is a part of the research titled Shadow Puppet Product Design and Development for the Improvement of Shadow Puppet Entrepreneurs in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The objectives of the study are to 1) investigate the shadow puppet carving art in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and 2) to design wall decorating products that represent the identity of shadow puppet carving art. Data was collected through observations and interviews from three groups of shadow puppet entrepreneurs: 1) Shadow Puppet Carving Community Enterprise, 2) Rak Khon Shadow Puppet Carving Community Enterprise, and 3) Suchart Sapsin Shadow Puppet Museum. The study's findings show that: 1) the technique on the shadow puppet is engraved and hammered by an engraving knife and an instrument called Toodtoo or Mook; 2) most of the patterns are engraved based on the ideas, doctrines, or stories that the shadow puppet masters used in their shows; the researchers created the shadow puppets based on the Buddhism concept of Four Kinds of Lotuses, which is a metaphor for four types of people; and 3) copper is an easy-to-find material that can be utilized as a substitute for tri-color gold to reflect Thai identity in the shadow puppet engraving process. The researchers were successful in creating a pattern of shadow puppet wall decorating products based on the Four Kinds of Lotuses. According to the results of the consumer evaluation, the shadow puppet engraving technique precisely expressed the identity of the shadow puppet engraving art. This qualitative case study examined the varied pedagogical strategies implemented by three EFL (English as a Foreign Language) educators at a public university in Southern Thailand by using an individual semi-structured interview and thematic analysis as research tools. These strategies were aimed at bolstering students’ autonomy in English learning, centered around four key themes: Fostering Interest, Reflective Practices, Facilitating, and Encouraging Autonomous Behaviors. The study reveals that lecturers function as motivators, reflective practitioners, facilitators, and consultants, thus crafting an atmosphere conducive to autonomous learning. Traditional authoritative roles are absent, enhancing students' independent learning journey. The knowledge obtained from this research added to a repertoire of effective strategies for EFL educators and was intended to foster environmental support of autonomous learning.
Kasama Pakdeephan Copyright (c) 2024 วารสารนาคบุตรปริทรรศน์ Nakkhabut Paritat Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-04-30 2024-04-30 16 1 181 192 Relationship between Transformational Leadership of School Administrators and the Performance following an Internal Quality Assurance System of Opportunity Expansion School under Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/nakboot/article/view/256315
The purpose of this research was to 1) study the levels of transformational leadership of school administrators, 2) study the levels of the performance following an internal quality assurance system, and 3) study the two relationships mentioned above.
