Prosocial behavior is the action of an individual or group of people that benefits others or society as a whole. With willingness and without expecting any benefit in return, including helping, sharing, and comforting. This may require a person or group of people to sacrifice their physical strength, thoughts, time, property, or sometimes even risk the life of the perpetrator. Promoting prosocial behavior can be done in at least 2 ways: 1) learning from reinforcement and 2) learning from models. Learning from reinforcement can be explained with Skinner's Operant conditioning theory, which states that if a person has prosocial behavior and receives reinforcement from those around him such as praise, rewards, token economy, favorite activities, etc., it will lead to Increased prosocial behavior. Promoting prosocial behavior through learning from models can be explained by Bandura's social cognitive theory by observing living models such as parents, guardians, teachers, relatives, close friends or symbolic models through various media. If these models are examples of good prosocial behavior for those around them, This will create an opportunity for easy imitation. In addition, experiences should be arranged for people to meet good models. And presenting stories of models with prosocial behavior through various media continuously.
Athiwat Rattanawongkhae, Agkawitch Jarukjareet

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/social_crru/article/view/273483

The play Ramakien, composed by King Buddhayodfa Chulalok, is the longest and most complete Thai version of the story of Rāma. While its main objective is to narrate the heroic exploits of Rāma as an avatar or incarnation of Lord Vishnu, an additional story is included at the beginning of this version of Ramakien. It is the story about a demon called Hiranyak who brings a dreadful calamity to humanity by rolling the earth’s surface and hiding it in the underworld. It narrates Vishnu’s incarnation as a wild boar to defeat the evil demon and reclaim the earth. The story continues with the birth of Anomātan, a child born inside a lotus flower that grew from Vishnu’s navel. This narrative also subtly carries political implications to create legitimacy for the first king of the Chakri Dynasty, portraying him as a Vishnu avatar who descends to alleviate the plight of the Siamese people. This justifies his right to rule over Bangkok as the new Ayodhyā, the city of Rāma, replacing the fallen previous dynasty and capital of the Siamese people, which had been ravaged by the fires of war.
siribhorn suwattanasuk, Anant Laulertvorakul
