https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/279566

This article presents an academic analysis of labor on the OnlyFans platform within the context of Thailand’s digital economy, focusing on three key dimensions: (1) income and economic security, (2) mental health and emotional labor, and (3) long-term social and career impacts. It critically examines the popular social idea of “Take Any Job, Escape Poverty” (“Don’t be picky, don’t be poor”) which continues to shape public perceptions of labor and occupational value in Thai society. Using the theoretical frameworks of platform labor, sexual capital theory, and the structure–agency debate, the study argues that work on OnlyFans, while appearing to be freely chosen, often stems from constrained structural conditions—economic precarity, platform algorithms, and cultural conservatism.

Findings reveal that although OnlyFans can provide significant short-term income, workers face high emotional, psychological, and social costs. Many content creators experience burnout, anxiety, and risks related to social stigma and privacy violations, while labor protection mechanisms within the digital economy remain insufficient.
This article proposes policy, social, and academic recommendations for constructing a more equitable system that upholds the dignity of digital workers, particularly those who rely on sexual capital as a livelihood strategy.
Adipon Euajarusphan

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/281225

Arthur Kleinman proposes the concept of care as a moral experience after years of caring for his wife with Alzheimer’s until her death. Kleinman believes that similarly caring experiences of healthcare staff with patients can free them from the narrow of technical perspectives of professionalism that are influenced by the educational system. In addition, the structural changes in the current health system, such as health services becoming a profit-and-loss business, commercial medicine that are promoting the attitude of healthcare staff towards patients as customers, and the bureaucratic system that emphasizes paperwork, reports and a lot of quality indicators are degrading the dignity of health care workers. Caring is a tool to lead healthcare staff to moral experiences. It will promote them growth into a self-fulfillment human being and bring the meaning of caring work back into the health system.
Prachatip Kata

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/284245

Guy Tachard (Père Tachard) was a Roman Catholic Jesuit priest born in France in 1651 and died in India in 1712 at the age of 61. During his lifetime, he was part of the diplomatic mission of King Louis XIV of France sent to the Kingdom of Ayutthaya in the reign of King Narai the Great (1656-1688). In addition to strengthening trade relations, the French government also wanted to spread Roman Catholicism in the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, so they sent the delegation of priests accompany with the embassy. The Ayutthaya royal court welcomed and gave them freedom to do their missionary work. Père Tachard travelled to Ayutthaya three times: the first time in 1685, second between 1687-1688, the third and last time in 1699. Each trip he’s recorded many stories of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, including its geography, climate, flora, and people. This article focuses on the study of Père Tachard's first trip travelogue as primary historical source, focusing on the stories of the nobility, people, and social values and norms during late Ayutthaya period.
Sitthard Srikotr

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/282731

Corruption in the public sector violates the rule of law, principles of good governance, and ethical standards expected of public officials. It undermines public trust, weakens institutional integrity, and harms the public interest. The Constitution of Thailand B.E. 2560 mandates that all individuals prevent and combat corruption, and establishes independent oversight bodies, such as the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC). These bodies operate under the Organic Act on the Prevention and Suppression of Corruption B.E. 2561, with powers to conduct inquiries, investigations, and evidence-gathering to determine culpability. The inquiry process follows an inquisitorial system, granting inquiry officials the authority to manage case files and gather facts independently, while ensuring impartiality and adherence to the principle of audi alteram partem. While corruption complaints in the Ministry of Public Health are relatively low, many public health officials lack a full understanding of their legal rights, duties, and procedural limits during investigations. This knowledge gap may lead to actions or statements that are inconsistent with legal requirements, jeopardizing their rights and the integrity of the process. This article examines administrative law and anti-corruption legislation, offering guidelines for public health officials facing corruption allegations. The aim is to strengthen their ability to lawfully exercise their rights, safeguard their interests, and ensure transparent, verifiable anti-corruption mechanisms that align with constitutional and legal principles.
Jiratchaya Kleebsuwan

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/278367

The purposes of this research were to study and analyze the legal consequences of using the novel's clues for entertainment and to study and analyze the determination of the defendant's burden of proof appropriate in the case of the use for entertainment of the clue in the novel under the Trade Secrets Act 2545 B.E. Article 12 by using qualitative research methods and collecting data from trade secret laws, including the TRIPS Agreement, Trade Secret Act 2545 B.E. as well as trade secret laws of the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Japan. The results of the research found that the unsolved novel's clues and the reason for the answer are kind of a trade secret according to the Trade Secrets Act 2545 B.E. Article 3. Independent discovery of use for entertainment is an exception to the infringement of the novel's clue according to the Trade Secrets Act 2545 B.E. Article 7 (3). However, the use of the novel's clues for entertainment is considered a form of use. If the rights holder is a plaintiff suing the reader as the defendant in a trade secret infringement case from the use, the defendant have the burden of proof to rebut the presumption of law under Article 12 of the Trade Secrets Act 2545 B.E. which is a presumption that the defendant, who is the user of the novel's clues that create the novel’s clues, is the infringer from the use first until the defendant proves otherwise. But the use of such a presumption in the case of infringement of the novel’s clues with the plot based on the use may prevent independent discovery. Therefore, the researcher recommends the enactment of secondary law on the determination of the burden of proof by specifying the presumption under Article 12 of the Trade Secrets Act 2545 B.E. only in the case of infringement of mystery in the novel with the Slice of Life novel from the use.
Pongkiat KulratanasinsukAngwara Chaianong

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/277337

This research article is an action research. The objective is to study the mental health promotion model for elderly prisoners before and after the development. In order to develop the mental health promotion model for elderly prisoners, the target group is 75 elderly prisoners. The research was conducted by applying the 4 steps of action research concept: searching, analyzing problems, planning, following the plan, observing results and reflecting results, and organizing activities according to the action research steps. The quantitative model was analyzed using descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics, Paired samples t-test. The research results found that the problem of mental health promotion among elderly prisoners was caused by the lack of knowledge in self-care and the lack of clear guidelines for health promotion for elderly prisoners. The health service provision of prisons and the public health system were not consistent with the issues that were the cause. Therefore, the mental health promotion model must integrate operations among the network partners involved in mental health promotion along with the 7 steps of management: studying the area, analyzing problems, planning together, determining strategies, establishing networks, assigning tasks, managing and receiving benefits, combined with the use of the mental health promotion model. It was found that the quality of life and happiness increased significantly after joining the program (p < 0.001)
nattha muansutha

https://so04.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/socku/article/view/278933

This study aims to: (1) examine the current state and (2) expectations regarding local church management. Data was collected from 228 members of the church council in region 1 using questionnaires; and (3) analyzed guidelines for local church management for self-reliance. Data was obtained through interviews with 28 local church executive committee members and district pastors from churches in region 1. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation, while qualitative data were analyzed through inductive summarization. The findings revealed that the overall effectiveness of local church management is currently at a high level. Specifically, the efficiency in operations and improvements was found to be high, whereas planning and evaluation were rated at a moderate level. Local churches expressed high expectations for enhancing management efficiency, particularly in planning, operations, and improvements. Despite ongoing planning efforts, achieving self-reliance still faces challenges, especially in financial management and leadership development. Implementing the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) management approach and developing personnel capabilities systematically can strengthen the church’s capacity for sustainable self-reliance. Therefore, emphasis should be placed on leadership development, establishing an efficient management system, and generating stable income to ensure long-term self-reliance for local churches.
Pikul PongklangJuree VichitdhanabadeeAnurak Panyanuwat
