In the case of Pruksa Village 68/1, Sisa Chora Noi Sub-district, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province. Through the health promotion project for the elderly in the community, To encourage the establishment of a club for the elderly in a small community. From the initial problem, the village was allocated to a new village. Elderly people with elderly problems come from all over the country to live with their children to take care of their grandchildren. Staying at home alone at home during the day is at risk of developing depression. Moreover, they have NCD health problems, but the right to medical treatment is still in the provinces. The project outcomes learned important lessons through the self-management community concept and human resource development at the community level. A community-level mechanism was formed, namely the elderly club. Leaders are developed through meetings, seminars, training sessions, and learning exchange platforms, both inside and outside the community. The committee of elderly clubs can organize activities, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate plans, including contacting and cooperating from outside the village for the benefit of the elderly in the community. Elderly people are happy to go up from participating in socializing activities, exercising and being a learning platform. Bringing strength and connection to a new, unfamiliar community. Being familiar, not alienated, feels like a valuable part of human dignity. As a result, Pruksa 86/1 Village is a livable community, resulting in love and unity. People in the community have turned more socially responsible and are willing to pay for the maintenance of the common area.
