Updated Manuscript Templates and Author Guidelines (2026)
The Local Administration Journal is pleased to announce the implementation of updated manuscript templates for both Thai and English submissions, together with revised Guidelines for Authors, effective from 2026 onward. These updates aim to enhance clarity, consistency, and overall academic quality in line with international publishing standards.
Beginning in 2026, the journal will strictly apply the APA 7th edition (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association) for both in-text citations and reference lists. Authors are required to ensure that all citations, quotations, and references fully comply with APA 7th edition formatting. Manuscripts that do not follow this standard may be returned for revision prior to the peer-review process.
In addition, all submissions must include an abstract in Thai and/or English, as applicable, with a maximum length of 300 words. Authors are kindly requested to ensure that abstracts are concise, informative, and clearly reflect the objectives, methods, key findings, and implications of the manuscript.
The revised Thai and English manuscript templates introduce updates to multiple formatting elements, including headings, text styles, layout, and reference presentation. Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the latest official templates provided by the journal to ensure uniformity and to facilitate the editorial and review process.
We kindly encourage all authors to carefully review the updated templates and author guidelines prior to submission. The Local Administration Journal appreciates your cooperation and looks forward to receiving high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of local administration and public affairs scholarship.
