The Creation Network Cooperation for Well-being Enhancement of the Elderly at Community Organizations in Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province

บทคัดย่อ

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the cooperation of community organizations in enhancing well-being of the elderly; 2) to build a cooperation network of creation of community organizations; and 3) to analyze the linkages between the cooperation networks and well-being enhancement of the elderly at community organizations in Sam Phran district, Nakhon Pathom Province.  This research employed a qualitative methodology and data were collected via in-depth interviews and focus group discussions.

The building of elderly’s’ well-being reinforcement cooperative networks is a result of the following mutual activities: 1) spiritual activities and ceremonies, e.g., inviting the monks for preaching or visits and meditation retreats; and 2) physical activities, which are carried out by organizing elderly care activities and supervision of nutritional conditions. The linking process of the cooperative networks of the community organizations are connected with the elements, include: 1) members: the leaders must be determined while having harmonious members; mutual activities are prioritized; 2) social activities: the activities must be progressed consistently, building relationship both spiritually and socially; 3) well-beings reinforcement: fully integrate the systemization of elderly care and well-being reinforcement and; 4) the success-material factors must fulfill the needs of the network members; present consistency of the activities and; be independent.
