บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้  มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางในการอนุรักษ์และพัฒนางานหัตถกรรมเครื่องจักสานบ้านโพธิ์ศรี โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาจากเอกสารข้อมูลที่มีการเก็บรวบรวมไว้ การสนทนากลุ่ม และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก

ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มหัตถกรรมจักสานไม้ไผ่และหวายบ้านโพธิ์ศรี เป็นงานจักสานที่สืบทอดมาจากบรรพบุรุษดั้งเดิม เริ่มชิ้นงานจักสานจากการใช้เองภายในครัวเรือน และเผยแพร่วิชาความรู้ ความชำนาญให้กับเพื่อนบ้าน ผู้นำกลุ่มเกิดแนวคิดการรวมกลุ่มจากชุมชนมีเวลาว่างหลังจากการทำนาใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ จึงร่วมกันผลิตงานจักสานขึ้นมาออกจำหน่ายเพื่อสร้างรายได้เพิ่มเป็นการนำองค์ความรู้ภูมิปัญญาพื้นบ้านที่ได้รับถ่ายทอดการทำงานจักสานมาจากบรรพบุรุษ ซึ่งทำจักสานด้วยลวดลายที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะท้องถิ่นประกอบด้วย ลายดอกพิกุล ลายหนามทุเรียน ลายแววมยุรา ลายดอกลั่นทม ด้วยฝีมืออันประณีต สวยงามมีความชำนาญทางศิลปะและสอดแทรกความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ดังนั้นปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จมาจากการสร้างจุดเด่นด้วยเอกลักษณ์ท้องถิ่น สอดแทรกด้วยภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นที่มีประโยชน์ในการใช้สอย สวยงาม ประณีต เน้นคุณภาพของงานตั้งแต่คุณภาพของวัสดุ มาตรฐานการผลิตด้วยฝีมือที่ละเอียดอ่อนมีการตรวจสอบคุณภาพสินค้าก่อนส่งถึงลูกค้า อีกประการหนึ่งคือประธานกลุ่มเป็นผู้มีภาวะผู้นำสูงมีการบริหารจัดการกลุ่มสตรีสหกรณ์จนประสบความสำเร็จ เป็นต้นแบบให้กับหน่วยงานอื่นๆ

Abstract

                                This research had the objective of producing guidelines for the preservation and development of wicker work by Pho Sri Village through review of documents, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews.

                This study found that the bamboo and rattan wicker work in this village are traditional practices that have been handed down through many generations. Initially, the products were made for household consumption. Later, as more villagers learned the craft, the idea was born to form a cooperative to produce and promote the products during the non-rice farming season to generate supplemental income for the community. The success of this effort has helped to preserve and spread the traditional knowledge of this craft. A unique aspect of this tradition are the weaving designs, including bullet wood flower patterns, durian thorn patterns, Waew Mayura pattern, and Klan Thom flower pattern. The hand crafting is a delicate art that produces beautiful results and brings out the creativity of the local people. The factors behind the success of this effort include the integration of traditional wisdom with the enterprising nature of the community, the artistic values of the local populace, the emphasis on quality, the use of quality control measures before marketing, and the strong leadership of the cooperative. This experience can serve as a model for other communities.
