The Participation Development for Academic Affairs Management in School : A Case Study on Bandongmakodsaitong School Under the Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office1

The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the former state, current state, expected state and development of participation guidelines; 2) the appropriate process; 3) the results of participation for academic affairs management of Bandongmakodsaitong school. The research methodology was Participatory Action Research. The target group consisted of 40 stakeholders were a principal, 9 teachers, 10 students, 10 education commission, and 10 parents. The instruments were the observation from, in-depth interview form, and take note form. Data analysis using by descriptive, topic inquiry, Content Analysis, and Synthesis.The research finding: 1) The former state; the community lack understanding and participation, the school is not through the external assessment from the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (Public Organization) in the second round. Current state; there is a teaching, the instructor has not completed all majors are core, budget state subsidies is limited, schools lack the distribution of the power to all the parties involved. Expected state; The School through the external assessment in the third, the community to participate in a academic management of the schools regularly and continuously. The development guidelines; associated with five projects; the development of school curriculum, the development learning process, the development Innovation media and educational technology, the development Rsource Centre, and community of enhancing knowledge. 2) The appropriate process have apply to sharing; thus implementing five projects. These are: 2.1) the project of the local curriculum of rice offering, 2.2) the project of enhancing skills to search for the knowledge by oneself and continuously development, 2.3) the project of computer room update, 2.4) the project of building of library, and 2.5) the project of relations sport. By applying the five this projects to develop 3 circle of four step; planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. 3) The results of participation for academic affairs management of Bandongmakodsaitong school; enhancing, learning, and bodies of knowledge from actual practice, whole schools, researcher, teachers, education commission, parents and students. All there was the development of stakeholders participation in problems seeking, decision-making, planning, acting, observing and reflecting, planning cooperation and implementation academic affairs management of school regularly and continuously.
