The Development of Mathematics Learning Activities Used Inquiry Cycles (5ES) Instructional Model Emphasizing Analytical Thinking on Factoring Polynomials Degree 2 for Mathayomsuksa 2

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop mathematics learning activities used inquiry cycles 5ES instructional model emphasizing analytical thinking on factoring polynomials degree 2 for Mathayomsuksa 2 2) to develop the students’ mathematic learning achievement in Matayomsuksa 2 used (5Es) instructional model students so that not less than 80% of students would have their learning achievement from 80% up 3) to study the analytical thinking from mathematic learning in “Factoring Polynomials Degree 2” used (5Es) instructional model in Matayomsuksa 2. There were 3 kinds of research instrument: 1) the instrument for experimental practice 2) the instrument for reflection the practice and 3) the instrument for performance evaluation. The design of this study was an action research. The statistics used in the analysis were percentage, mean. The research finding found that: 1) The development of mathematics learning activities used 5ES Instructional model emphasizing analytical think could promote students participation in activities as well as explore search for knowledge by themselves. It gave opportunities for students to express their opinion, and share knowledge. 2) The students had their average learning achievement 91.29% and there were 34 students or 97.14% of them, passing the criterion which was as the specified criterion that not less than 80% of them would have their average achievement form 80% up 3) The students had their average analytical thinking 16.03 point, the analytical thinking of Students is very positive.
