Abstract

This article aims to study examined the Essentials and strategies for presenting in the Poetic Work "Happiness is not difficult" Composed by His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand. The results of the study showed that the substance as a whole aims to teach people to behave in a good manner. In order to find true happiness and there are six essential substances: Sucarita: good conduct, Lobha: greed, Dosa: hatred, Moha: delusion, panyà: wisdom and Sacca: absolute truth, in which these objects correspond to Buddha-ovàda: the Three Admonitions of the Buddha: doing good, abstaining from evil, and purification of the mind. In terms of methods of presenting substance, 7 characteristics were found: using of examples, using spoken language, using comparisons, definition, explaining and explaining details, showing cause and effect, questioning.
