The Study of Cost and Return of the Dipterocarpus Alatus Roxb. Ex G. Don. Production in Yang Neeng Subdistrict, Chiangmai Province

This Participatory Action Research (PAR) aimed to study the cost and return of the Dipterocarpus Alatus Roxb. Ex G. Don. Production. Population were 9,480 member of Yang Neeng Subdistrict, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province. This research uses specific sampling methods. The sample group or informants were 73 member of Yang Neeng Subdistrict, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province who were interested in participating in the research project. The study instrument for data collection were questionnaire and the sub-projects. Statistical analysis were percentage and frequency. The result showed that cost consists of direct raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead. Most respondents agree that costs, profits and sales are important to the business at a moderate level. Moreover, product quality, technology used in the production and distribution of products, and honesty of the seller werw important to business at the highest level.
