Perception and Opinions of Being a National University of Naresuan University Staff

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the understanding about being a national university of Naresuan University staff, and to study the opinion of being a national university of Naresuan University staff. The populations are from 4,725 Naresuan University staff. The sample group are the four group of stuff by the lottery from 357 by proportional stratified random sampling. The data collection by the research tool is a questionnaire to use with the sample. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the study reveal as follows. Naresuan University staff’s perception about being a national university has equal level in welfare and progress, and academic administration (= 1.90), followed by general administration, and personnel administration has equal level (= 1.89), and budget and property (= 1.85), respectively. According to the Naresuan University staff’s opinions of being a national university, personnel administration (= 4.59) and welfare and progress (= 4.52) are found in the highest level, while budget and property administration is found in a high level (= 4.40).
