Guidelines for Conflict Management of the School Administrators under Chiangrai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) investigate the school administrators’conflict management, and 2) construct the practical approach of school administrators’ conflict management under Chiangrai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The instruments for data collection were the five level estimation scale questionnaires and the interview forms. The results of the research showed that the school administrators’ conflict management was overall at a moderate level. The practical approach of school administrators’ conflict management are the school administrators should listen to problems, analyze problems that cause conflicts and remain neutral, discuss and create understanding by using reason, show sincerity, use the principles of justice in managing conflicts, use power and influence as a last resort in conflict management, look at conflict management as learning personnel in the organization and  should let people in the organization take part in the management.
