การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาภาวะผู้นำเชิงวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา 2) เพื่อศึกษาสมรรถนะในการปฏิบัติงานของครู และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภาวะผู้นำเชิงวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษากับสมรรถนะในการปฏิบัติงานของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 2 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ภาวะผู้นำเชิงวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 2 กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยรวมและเป็นรายด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) สมรรถนะในการปฏิบัติงานของครู สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 2 กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยรวมและเป็นรายด้านอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด 3) ภาวะผู้นำเชิงวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษากับสมรรถนะในการปฏิบัติงานของครู โดยรวมมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับสูง อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
