Guidelines for Developing Learning Leadership of School Administrator under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nongkhai

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the current status, desired status, and needs of learning leadership of school administrators and 2) study the guidelines for developing learning leadership of school administrators by using mixed research methodology and explanatory research design. The sample consisted of 288 school administrators and teachers under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area of ​​Nong Khai. The instruments used were a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.986 and interviews with 5 experts. The research results found that the current conditions were at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, the average values ​​were highest in team learning and self-learning, while creating an environment conducive to learning had the lowest average values​. The desired conditions were at the highest level overall. When considering each aspect, the average values ​​were highest in using innovation and technology for learning, and team learning had the lowest average values. The most important need to be developed was creating an environment conducive to learning (PNI _Modified = 0.186). Executives need to develop learning leadership of executives in creating an environment conducive to learning by emphasizing the learning environment and promoting personnel to use technology and innovation to develop teaching and learning, including giving personnel opportunities to propose ideas to improve the teaching and learning system to be more efficient.
