Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study strategic management in the digital era by school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Nonthaburi, and 2) compare strategic management in the digital era by school administrators, classified by gender, educational level, experience, and school size. This was a quantitative study with a sample of 320 teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Nonthaburi. The instrument was a rating-scale questionnaire validated for content validity by experts, with an Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) index of [x.xx–x.xx] and a reliability coefficient of [x.xx]. Statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and LSD pairwise comparison. The results showed that: 1) Overall, strategic management in the digital era by school administrators was at a high level (x̄ = 3.67). By aspect, environmental analysis had the highest mean, followed by direction setting, strategy implementation, and strategy formulation, respectively, while strategy evaluation had the lowest mean. 2) Teachers with different genders and educational levels reported no significant difference in opinion, whereas teachers with different experience and those working in schools of different sizes reported statistically significant differences at the .05 level.
