How Artists Create Art

Abstract

The creation of art by artists involves several important process and factors, for example education, knowledge of art and skill. In general, artsts are divided into two main groups, the intellectual artists who create art from technical knowledge and thought and the emotional artsts who rely more on feeling and emotion. For the latter, it is not necessary to corporate knowledge or reason into their works; they usually let the feeling led them. When an artist has an urge or senses something that cannot explain verbally, but wanting to communicate that feeling through canvases, that feeling becomes an “inspiration” that translates into an "image”. This happens when, for example, an artist sees one particular rose and not any roses. Thus, art is an emotional rather than intellectual medium. Imagination is the most important factor in the creation of art. Image that inspires an artist can come from certain things or events that effect mood or emotion, giving rise to imagination and inspiration that eventually project image onto the brain. The artist then expresses that image through painting, sculpture, music or other artistic medium. The transformation of image into the work of art may be determined by the artist's framework or concept. Thus, each individual artist's artwork is always different.
