"Ayuddhaya" in The Early Ayuddhaya Period Literature

Abstract

Lilit-OngKanchaengnam, Lilit-Yuanphai, Lilit-Phralo, Mahachat-Khamluang, Khlong-Thawathotsamat and Khlong-Kamsuansiprat are prominent literatures of the early Ayuddhaya period. They can greatly reflect every social perspectives of Ayuddhaya, which are the community settlement, the prosperity of Buddhism, politic and government, beliefs, values, traditions, cultures as well as people's ways of life. When combining all those aspects together, they will give the whole picture of Ayuddhaya that it was once the great, wealthy and peaceful kingdom where people happily lived their lives by experiencing the prosperity of cultures and arts.
