อายาวัสกา (Ayahuasca) เป็นพิธีกรรมที่ใช้ในการรักษาเยียวยาผู้คนในเขตป่าฝนแอมะซอน มีชนพื้นเมืองฮูนิคูอิน (Huni Kuin) เป็นหนึ่งในกลุ่มผู้สืบทอดพิธีกรรมดังกล่าวมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ด้วยวิถีชีวิตของพวกเขาที่ผูกพันกับธรรมชาติและการดำเนินชีวิตที่สอดคล้องกับความเชื่อของศิลปินร่วมสมัยชาวบราซิล เออร์เนสโต เนโต (Ernesto Neto) ทำให้ในช่วงครึ่งทศวรรษที่ผ่านมาเออร์เนสโต เนโต เลือกที่จะศึกษาและสร้างสรรค์ผลงานบนพื้นฐานของวัฒนธรรมและความเชื่อของชาวฮูนิคูอิน บทความวิชาการฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาแนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะของเออร์เนสโต เนโต ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ชมได้เข้าไปสัมผัสกับผลงานและเรื่องราวของชนพื้นเมือง โดยอาศัยแนวทางการวิเคราะห์เกี่ยวกับการรับรู้ทางพื้นที่และคุณลักษณะของสถานที่ในการวิเคราะห์ จากการศึกษาสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าเออร์เนสโต เนโต ได้เลือกใช้วัสดุและแนวทางการติดตั้งผลงานที่เน้นให้ผู้ชมเกิดประสบการณ์ผ่านประสาทสัมผัสต่าง ๆ อันทำให้เกิดการเชื่อมโลกของชนพื้นเมืองฮูนิคูอินกับผู้คนทั่วโลกผ่านพื้นที่ศิลปะได้สำเร็จ
