The Role of Promoting the Quality of Life of the Disabled in Foundation for the Welfare of the Crippled under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother

Abstract
The purpose of this research were to the role of promoting the quality of life of the disabled in foundation for the welfare of the crippled under the royal patronage of her royal highness the princess mother. This research was qualitative research. Key informants include foundation executive, school director, teacher and disabled children. The research methods consisted of in-depth interview, non-participant observation and focus group discussion. The results of the research showed that the role of promoting the disabled in the foundation is a care focusing on all dimensions, both physically and mentally. By teaching and learning to improve the quality of life through support from all relevant parties. The disabled are open to receive and develop positively and can develop to create value in themselves. At the same time, the role of creating acceptance and changing understanding of society it is a matter of emphasizing the integration of the community, society, family and the disabled so that they can coexist and understand and reduce discrimination against people with disabilities in the society of communication technology to have practical effect.
