บทคัดย่อ
หลักการเรียงพลังประจำเสียงเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความยากในการออกเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำ จากความเป็นสากลของโครงสร้างพยางค์ CV นั้น ในการออกเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำของผู้พูดที่ไม่ใช่เจ้าของภาษา จึงมักมีการปรับเปลี่ยนเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำให้ง่ายขึ้น งานวิจัยนี้จึงต้องการศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหลักการการเรียงพลังประจำเสียงของพยัญชนะควบกล้ำภาษาอังกฤษกับความสามารถในการออกเสียง และลักษณะการปรับเปลี่ยนเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำภาษาอังกฤษจากการออกเสียงของผู้พูดคนไทย โดยศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 20 คน ที่มีอายุระหว่าง 30-45 ปี ซึ่งเป็นการเก็บข้อมูลจากการบันทึกเสียงของผู้เข้าร่วมวิจัยในการอ่านข้อความระดับประโยคจาก Bamford-Kowel-Bench (BKB) Standard Sentence Lists ประกอบด้วยคำทดสอบที่เป็นเสียงควบกล้ำ ทั้งหมด 73 คำ รวมการวิเคราะห์คำเป้าหมายทั้งหมด 1,460 ครั้ง (73 คำ x 20 คน) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ค่าพลังประจำเสียงของหน่วยเสียงไม่ส่งผลต่อความยากในการออกเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำภาษาอังกฤษของผู้พูดคนไทย และมีการปรับเปลี่ยนเสียงพยัญชนะควบกล้ำ ได้แก่ การตัดเสียงพยัญชนะ การแทนที่เสียง และการเพิ่มเสียง ตามลำดับ
