The Preparations State of The 46Th Thailand National Games(2018) “JIANGHAI GAMES” of Sport Authority of Thailand Office, Chag Rai Province

Abstract

The research aimed to study the preparation state of the 46th Thailand National Games “Jianghai Games” of Sport Authority of Thailand Office, Chiang Rai Province and to compare between the level of the games organizing preparation and the satisfaction of the relevant people. The sample was 132 people who contacted and coordinated with Sport Authority of Thailand Office, Chiang Rai Province. The purposive sampling was implemented. The research tool was the questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Paired Sample t-Test. It was found that the preparation state in overall had Mean as 3.586 and Standard Deviation as 0.297 while comparing with the criteria, it was at the level of high preparation. Considering in each item, it was found that the preparation in the area of buildings and places renovation was at the first with Mean as 3.641 and Standard Deviation as 0.427, the preparation in the area of personnel with Mean as 3.590 and Standard Deviation as 0.392, the preparation in the area of facilities with Mean as 3.560 and Standard Deviation as 0.354 and the preparation in the area of equipment and sports stadium with Mean as 3.558 and Standard Deviation as 0.401 respectively. Referring to the satisfaction of preparation, it was revealed that most of respondents were satisfied with the preparation in overall with Mean as 3.663 and Standard Deviation as 0.267.According to the comparison between the level of preparation and satisfaction, it was found that there was difference among the respondents’ opinions between the preparation and the satisfaction.
