Development of an Employee Performance Model in the Hotel Industry in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thaland

This Article aimed to study 1) Examine the level of employee performance in the hotel industry in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand 2) Study the factors influencing employee performance in the hotel industry in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand; and 3) Develop a model of employee performance in the hotel industry in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand.The research instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistical methods used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and model fit analysis to evaluate the consistency between the research model and empirical data. The research results were found as follows; 1.The level of employee performance in the hotel industry in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand, was found to be high. 2.Employee performance was most significantly influenced by digital technology, which had both direct and indirect effects. The next most influential factor was managerial leadership, which had a direct effect. Furthermore, managerial leadership was directly influenced by digital technology, business transformation, and work systems, respectively. All of these influences were statistically significant at the 0.05 level. 3.The developed model was found to be consistent and well-aligned with the empirical data. The research findings on business adaptation to change can be used by entrepreneurs as a guideline for planning internal organizational changes, such as restructuring, adopting new technologies, promoting a corporate culture that supports teamwork, and managing change effectively, in order to enhance the competitiveness and long-term sustainability of businesses.
