การสำรวจและจัดทำฐานข้อมูลอาคารที่มีคุณค่าควรแก่การอนุรักษ์ บริเวณชุมชนตลาดเก่าท่าม่วง อำเภอท่าม่วง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี/Survey and Inventory of Important Buildings Worthy of Preservation in Tha Muang Old Market Community, Kanchanaburi Province

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

บทความนี้เป็นผลผลิตจาก “โครงการสำรวจและจัดทำฐานข้อมูลอาคารที่มีคุณค่าควรแก่การอนุรักษ์บริเวณย่านการค้าเก่าในเขตเทศบาลตำบลท่าม่วง อำเภอท่าม่วง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี” ซึ่งสนับสนุนโดยคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง ร่วมกับเทศบาลตำบลท่าม่วง เครือข่ายสถาบันการศึกษา กลุ่มอนุรักษ์ประวัติศาสตร์ท้องถิ่น และประชาชนผู้อยู่อาศัยในชุมชนตลาดเก่าท่าม่วง

จากการสำรวจพบว่าอาคารที่มีคุณค่าควรแก่การอนุรักษ์ของชุมชนตลาดเก่าท่าม่วงมีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 94 รายการ โดยทั้งหมดเป็นอาคารที่มีความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่เกี่ยวพันกับเหตุการณ์หรือบุคคลสำคัญของชุมชน และเป็นอาคารที่มีคุณค่าทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีความงดงามด้วยฝีมือการก่อสร้างของช่างในอดีต  ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสำรวจมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อใช้เป็นเอกสารอ้างอิงร่วมกันสำหรับผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องจะได้นำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการวางแผนเมือง การพัฒนาชุมชนและสังคม การพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่ทำให้ชุมชนตลาดเก่าท่าม่วงยังคงเป็นชุมชนที่สามารถรักษาวิถีชีวิต เอกลักษณ์ และความภาคภูมิใจของตนเองต่อไปได้ในอนาคต

 Abstract

This paper is a result of the research project titled “Survey and Inventory of Valuable Buildings Worthy of Preservation in the Old Commercial Quarter of Tha Muang Municipality, Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province.” This project was supported by the Faculty of Architecture of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, the Tha Muang District Municipality, educational institutions, a local historic preservation group, and owners of residences in the Tha Muang old market community.

From the field surveys conducted during this project, 94 buildings in the community were identified as being worthy of preservation. All of them are important in telling the history of significant events or important persons of the community.  They are also significant because of their architectural value, specifically their beautiful craftsmanship and their decorations that are illustrative of the past.

Data from the field surveys aims to be reference documentation for stakeholders in the fields of urban planning, community and social development, and economic development for cultural tourism. This report would also provide local residents with information to retain their way of life, maintain their community’s identity, and have pride for the community’s future.
