เมื่อ “มิชลิน” บริษัทผลิตยางรถยนต์ของฝรั่งเศส ได้จัดทำคู่มือแนะนำร้านอาหารระดับนานาชาติ หลังจากที่ประกาศว่าจะมีการจัดคู่มือแนะนำอาหารสำหรับกรุงเทพมหานครเป็นครั้งแรก ก่อให้เกิดคำถามมากมายว่าร้านอาหารริมทางใดจะได้รับรางวัล ในที่สุด “ร้านเจ๊ไฝ” ภายใต้ชื่อจริง สุภิญญา จันสุตะ เชฟผู้หญิงอายุ 73 ปี ได้รับรางวัลมิชลินสำหรับร้านอาหารของเธอ หลังจากที่ได้มีการประกาศคู่มือแนะนำอาหารมิชลินประจำปี 2561 การได้รับรางวัลมิชลินหนึ่งดาว ทำให้ร้านมีจำนวนลูกค้าเพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยเจ๊ไฝเป็นผู้ที่ไม่รู้จักคู่มือมิชลินมาก่อนและถูกเชิญไปรับรางวัล ร้าน (เจ๊ไฝ) ยังคงใช้เตาถ่านในการประกอบอาหารและขายอาหารทะเล หลังจากที่ได้รางวัล ร้านเจ๊ไฝต้องพบกับความวุ่นวายและได้รับความสนใจเป็นอย่างมากจากผู้ที่ชื่นชอบเรื่องอาหารแม้ว่าราคาจะแพง เพราะชื่อเสียงของมิชลินสตาร์ ทำให้เจ๊ไฝต้องเผชิญกับปัญหาจากการเพิ่มขึ้นของจำนวนลูกค้าที่มากจนถึงการได้รับความสนใจที่ไม่พึงประสงค์จากเจ้าหน้าที่สรรพากร
