The Effect of Work Life Quality on Organizational Engagement Among Generation Y Employees in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

This research aimed to 1) assess the perception of work life quality, and 2) examine how this quality impacts the organizational engagement of Generation Y employees in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Employing a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 385 Generation Y employees aged between 20 and 37 years. A questionnaire was utilized for data collection. Analytical tools included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation for descriptive analysis, and multiple regression analysis for hypothesis testing. The findings indicated that the overall level of perceived work life quality and organizational commitment was high. Hypothesis testing revealed that work life quality, measured in terms of a safe and non-harmful environment, opportunities for employee competency development, job security, social integration, operational regulations, work-life balance, and other aspects, significantly affects the organizational engagement of Generation Y employees in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. These factors account for 63.00 percent of the variance in organizational commitment, with a statistical significance of 0.05.
