พลิกโฉมการเดินทาง: ความสัมพันธ์ ระหว่างการตระหนักรู้กับความต้องการใช้ระบบขนส่งสาธารณะของประชาชน ในเขตเทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา

ระบบขนส่งสาธารณะเป็นโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่มีความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนาเมือง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในบริบทของโลกยุคปัจจุบันที่เผชิญกับกระแสการขยายตัวของเมืองอย่างรวดเร็ว การศึกษาครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างระดับการตระหนักรู้ของประชาชนเกี่ยวกับประโยชน์และคุณค่าของระบบขนส่งสาธารณะ กับระดับความต้องการใช้ระบบขนส่งสาธารณะในเขตเทศบาลนครหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างจำนวน 140 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถามและวิเคราะห์ด้วยการถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การตระหนักรู้เชิงบวกเกี่ยวกับระบบขนส่งสาธารณะของประชาชน และความถี่ในการใช้บริการระบบขนส่งสาธารณะ มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกต่อความต้องการระบบขนส่งสาธารณะ ส่วนตัวแปรอื่น ๆ ไม่ปรากฏความสัมพันธ์ที่มีนัยสำคัญต่อความต้องการระบบขนส่งสาธารณะ ผลการศึกษานี้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าการพัฒนาระบบขนส่งสาธารณะควรมุ่งเน้นการสร้างการรับรู้เชิงบวกของประชาชน การจัดบริการที่ตอบสนองต่อเป้าหมายการเดินทางของประชาชน ตลอดจนการกำหนดค่าโดยสารที่เหมาะสมเพื่อให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงบริการดังกล่าวได้อย่างเท่าเทียม อันจะนำไปสู่การยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตในเขตเมืองและสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเป้าหมายที่ 11
