A Study of Analytical Reading of Grade Fifth Students through The SQ5R Method with Graphic Organizers and Differentiated Instruction

The research aims were to 1) compare of analytical reading of Grade fifth students through the SQ5R method with graphic organizers and differentiated instruction between before and after the lessons. 2) compare of analytical reading of Grade fifth students through the SQ5R method with graphic organizers and differentiated instruction after the lessons with the standard 70 percent criterion. The research sample included 34 students studying in Grade fifth from Kongnumtubwittayakarn School Maung District, in Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area office 1. In the second semester of the academic year 2018. Research tools were 8 learning lesson plans and the test for measure and assessment analytical reading. Statistics used for data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test. The study revealed that 1) Analytical reading of Grade fifth students through the SQ5R method with graphic organizers and differentiated instruction after the lessons as follows the whole students included the intelligent students and the regular students have a higher average score than the before lessons. And analytical reading evaluation results in totally, students have a higher average score development 2) Analytical reading after the lessons with the standard 70 %, in the whole was not found to be higher than 70 % criteria at the statistical significance at the .05 level. And classified as a group, the intelligent students was found to be higher than 70 % criteria at the statistical significance at the .05.
The regular students was not found to be higher than 70 % criteria at the statistical significance at the .05 level.
