Academic Performance of Undergraduate Students at Khon Kaen University Academic Years 2013-2022

This research aimed to analyze the academic performance of undergraduate students at Khon Kaen University from the academic years 2013 to 2022. The study examined general information of undergraduate students, and the data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research focused on comparing the academic performance of undergraduate students categorized by their pre-admission GPA, admission round, and education system, using the one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) technique.The findings revealed that the majority of students had a pre-admission GPA in the range of 3.51–4.00, accounting for 50.30%. Most students were admitted in the second round, representing 50.60%, and the majority of students studied in the regular program, accounting for 81.30%. Regarding the academic performance after admission (measured by cumulative GPA), most undergraduate students had a cumulative GPA between 3.01–3.50, with a total of 22,927 students.When comparing the academic performance of undergraduate students based on pre-admission GPA, admission round, and education system, the hypothesis testing results indicated that these different factors—pre-admission GPA, admission round, and education system—significantly affected the students' academic performance at the .05 level, which was consistent with the research hypothesis.
