การปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาวลาวและชาวเวียดนาม ในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสกลนคร

บทความนี้นำเสนอผลการวิจัยซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการวิจัยเรื่องการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาติอาเซียนในมหาวิทยาลัยของไทย:กรณีศึกษานักศึกษาชาวลาวและชาวเวียดนามในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสกลนคร มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรม และศึกษาปัจจัยส่งเสริมและปัจจัยอุปสรรคในการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมของนักศึกษาชาวลาวและชาวเวียดนามที่ศึกษาอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสกลนคร ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาชาวลาวและชาวเวียดนามมีลักษณะการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมแบบ Bicultural Identity ซึ่งเป็นการรักษา
อัตลักษณ์ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ตนเองไว้ และในขณะเดียวกันก็มีการปรับรับเอาวัฒนธรรมใหม่หรือวัฒนธรรมหลักมาด้วย ปัจจัยส่งเสริมการปรับตัวทางวัฒนธรรมที่สำคัญที่สุด คือ เพื่อนชาวไทย ปัจจัยอื่น ๆ ได้แก่ ตัวของนักศึกษาเอง อาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ หลักสูตรอบรมภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทย การรับสื่อไทย ปัจจัยอุปสรรค ได้แก่ ภาษาและพฤติกรรมการเกาะกลุ่มอยู่กับเพื่อนชาติเดียวกัน
