Palindrome in Sanskrit Composition

Abstract

Vilomacitra is a kind of embellishment of Sanskrit language. It forms groups of special Devanagari script that can be read both from left to right-anuloma-and from right to left-pratiloma. Despite the fact that it can be read both ways, its meaning depends upon reading it the normal way : i.e. from left to right. Vilomacitra deals with syllabic reversal. Savatobhadra is one of embellishments that has the same characters as Vilomacitra. It is clear that Vilomacitra can be found in some inflectional languages such as Pali. In addition embellishments like Vilomacitra appear in western culture and Thai literature as well. It is conducive to show the fact that embellishment like vilomacitra is practical in human language.
