Lexical Reduplication in Spoken Language

Abstract

This article aims at the study of lexcical reduplication in spoken language in Mathichon Dictionary. The result of study shows that lexical reduplication in spoken language has been both of lexical reduplication of meaning and lexical reduplication of sound. The lexical reduplication of meaning has 4 important aspects. 1) It has only one meaning in some words or phrases. 2) All of lexcical reduplication word has meaning. 3) It has only repetition in a pair of word. 4) It has ryhmes in the middle of word. And the lexical reduplication of sound has been found that there are 2 syllables upto 6 syllables but almost of the lexical reduplication of sound has 4 syllables. From all of those aspects make daily life communication to be melodious.
