BUDDHADHAMMA INTEGRATION FOR PROMOTING PERSONNEL’S PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY IN THE OFFICE OF SISAKET PROVINCIAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were: 1. To study personnel performance efficiency. 2. To propose Buddha-dhamma integration for promoting personnel’s performance efficiency of the Office of Sisaket Provincial Education, conducted by mixed research methods. The quantitative research collected data using a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.995 to collect data from 391 samples, and the data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and multiple regression.  In the qualitative research, data were collected by in-depth interviews with 18 key informants and 9 participants in focus group discussions. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to confirm the knowledge after the data synthesis.

Findings were as follows: 1. The personnel’s work performance efficiency in the Office of Sisaket Provincial Education was found to be, overall, at a high level. The mean was 4.48, and the standard deviation was 0.03. When considering each aspect in order of average value, it was found to be at a high level in every aspect. 2. Buddha-dharma Integration for promoting the personnel’s work performance efficiency in the Office of Sisaket Provincial Education was found that the integration of Bhala 5 or 5 forces, the Dhamma, the power supporting personnel’s work performance effectively consisted of 5 elements, namely, 1. Sattha-Bhala, power of faith,  faith in the mission, 2. Viriya-Bhala, power of perseverance, Persevering to conquer all problems, 3. Sati-Bhala, power of mindfulness, prudence in thought; 4. Samadhi-Bhala, power of concentration, mental strength at work; 5. Panna-Bhala, power of wisdom, knowingly integrating to promote personnel’s work performance efficiency of the Office of Sisaket Provincial Education for more efficiency.
