BUDDHADHAMMA INTEGRATION FOR ELECTION PROMOTION OF ADMINISTRATORS AND MEMBERS OF MUNICIPALITIES IN NONTHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were: 1. To study election promotion of administrators and municipality members. 2. To study the factors that affected election promotion of administrators and municipality members. 3. To present Buddhadhamma integration for election promotion of administrators and members of the municipalities in Nonthaburi Province, conducted by mixed research methods. The qualitative research, data were collected by In-depth interviewing 18 key informants. and participants in focus group discussions. The data were analyzed by descriptive interpretation The quantitative research used questionnaires to collect data from 400 samples and analyzed the data by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and normal multiple regression analysis.

The results showed that 1. The elections, overall, were at very high level. When examined in order of importance, it was found that equal elections were followed by secret and free elections, respectively. 2. Factors affecting the election of executives and municipal council members in Nonthaburi Province It was found that 1. Factors affecting the election affected the election in 3 aspects, with a statistically significant level of 0. 01 In the following order: Personality, political stimulus, and political environment, which showed that the factors affecting the election could jointly predict the election at 40.4 percent, 2. The principle of Aparihaniyadhamma affected the election in 3 aspects with statistically significant level  of 0.01 by ordering the equation as follows: Worship the pagoda, do not prescribe what is not prescribed, do not overturn what was originally prescribed, and take care of women from being persecuted, which showed that the principle of Aparihaniyadhamma could jointly predict the election of executives and municipal council members in Nonthaburi Province by 46.9 percent. It was found that they did activities together regularly and on time. Obey the rules, share knowledge with each other, and respect everyone equally.
