Excellence in Educational Administration in a New Normal of Private Institutions

Abstract

This article aimed to (1) study an element of excellence in educational administration in a New Normal of Private Institutions and (2) analyze the composition data to verify the components of excellence in educational administration in a New Normal of Private Institutions. The sample group consisted of 360 administrators of Bangkok's private institutions. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics. The research results were as follows: 1. The composition of excellence in administration in a new normal consists of 7 elements: leadership, strategic management, customers, analytical measurement, personnel development, operations, and results; 2. The SEM of Excellence in Educational Administration in a New Normal of Private Institutions has the following results: chi-square = 100.19, p-value = 0.063, GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.94, and RMSEA = 0.027. These results are consistent with relevant literature reviews and empirical data that passed the specified criteria. The factors affecting the load of components are the customer, the result, personnel development, strategic management, leadership, measurement analysis, and operation. The component weights are 0.97, 0.89, 0.88, 0.78, 0.78, 0.67, and 0.67, respectively.   


The results of this research can be used as a guideline for the administrators to improve the staff performance of private institutions in the New Normal towards excellence.
