บทคัดย่อ
Kalamasutra in the Discourse, one of the Buddhist main scriptures is actually well known as Kesaputtisutra, dealing with a particular story, which happened in the Kesaputi village of kalaman people. In the discourse, Buddha taught them of the principles of practical reasoning to address a doubtful issue as to what is true and logically valid. Such principles of argumentative validity also reflect freedom and stance of impartiality in pursuing truth, and proving belief, teachings and religion practices, without persuasive intervention.
As a result, the key solution in elucidation of the unit of the word depends upon the analysis of the principle of kalamasutra in terms of its contents and social, environmental historical elements including fundamental belief, which was derived from two academics of a religion. Moreover, the overarching principles, as an auxiliary tool in analysis to distinguish the authentic meaning of the semantically vague unit of the word is employed to address doubt of meaning. From the study, it can be concluded that the first justification as to the term ‘Pitaka’ refers to three Buddhist baskets of teaching is straightforward and logical consistent, having no effect against Buddhist reliable teachings. On contrary hand, the view related to the fact that the Pitika refers six heretic teachers’ ideas still is logical adequacy; for if the fact that the ambiguous word denotes the Buddhist cannon, no any reasoning is needed to warn the Kalamas to not believe in, because all Darmma, realized by him is noble truth to be unfold, standing lofty challenge against current of time.
