A Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam Subdistrict Municipality, Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to study the Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam subdistrict Municipality Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province. (2) to comparison the Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam subdistrict Municipality Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province classified by sex, age, education levels and occupation.The samples used in this study were 385 and the value of reliability were 0.88. The research collected the data by using the questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing data were frequency, percentage, means, and standard deviation. Hypothesis tested by t-test and F-test and if differences were found, the differences in pair were later analyzed by scheffe’s method at the statistical significance level of .05

            The results of this research were as follows:

1. the Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam subdistrict Municipality Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province found that in overall and in each aspect at a high level ( = 3.06) ranking in the order of mean from high to low as follows: inspiration Motivation aspect (  = 4.09) Individualized consideration aspect (  = 4.03) Idealized Influence aspect (  = 3.96) and intellectual stimulation aspect (  = 3.72)
2. The comparisons the Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam subdistrict Municipality Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province classified by sex, age, education levels and occupation found that population were different in sex, age and occupation found that the Leadership of Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman according to the expectations of the people in Nakam subdistrict Municipality Srisongkram District Nakhon Phanom Province in overall and in each aspect at not a different, but population who were different in education levels were in overall and in each aspect a different by the statistical significance at .05 level.
