Educational Administration of Local Administrative Organizations towards the Elderly: a Case Study of the Elderly College, Phichit Province, Hua Dong Subdistrict Branch.

Abstract

The objectives of this research article are 1) to study the conditions of educational administration of Local Administrative Organizations towards the elderly: a case study of the Elderly College, Phichit province Hua Dong subdistrict branch and 2) to study the problems and obstacles of this College.  Research methodology consisted of 1) documentary study 2) in-depth interview and 3) participatory observation. Also, there are 10 interviewees. The result found that the conditions of educational administration of the Elderly College comprised 1) focusing on collective participation 2) clear goals and constant activities 3) routinely mutual leaning and development 4) activity types useful for the elderly 5) potentiality of networks and 6) autonomy in educational administration. While the problems and obstacles of this College were 1) trainees’ traveling problems and 2) lacking of academic moderators and entertaining moderators.
