The Development of Learning Package on “Physical Properties of Materials” for Prathomsuksa 4 Students at Cholpratan-anukroh School Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research were (1) to develop a learning package using inquiry cycle (5Es) on“Physical Properties of Materials”for Prathomsuksa 4 Students to be effective  the criteria set at 80/80. (2) to compare the Prathomsuksa 4 students’ learning achievement before and after learning by using learning package. (3) to investigate the Prathomsuksa 4 students’ satisfaction towards learning package. The sample of this research consisted of 35 students of Prathomsuksa 4 students were studying in the second semester of the academic year 2019 at Cholpratan-anukroh School in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, selected by cluster random sampling. The instrument used for research were (1) lesson plan by using inquiry cycle (5Es) total 8 plans (2) 4 set of learning packages (3) the learning achievement test is a multiple choice with 4 choices consisting 20 items and  (4) the satisfaction questionnaire to learning packages  5 – rating scale amount 10 items. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, the efficiency value (E1/E2) and the hypothesis was tested by dependent sample    t – test. The results were as follows: (1) The efficiency of learning package was at 89.96/80.86 which was higher than the set criteria. (2) The Prathomsuksa 4 students’ learning achievement after learning was higher than before learning with the statistically significant at the level of .05. (3) The students’ satisfaction result was at the highest level.
