The Relationship between School Administrators’ Transformational Leadership and Job Satisfaction of Teachers in Banchang School Network Under the Rayong Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) examine the transformational leadership of the school administrators 2) investigate the job satisfaction of the teachers and 3) explore the relationship between the school administrators’ transformational leadership and the job satisfaction of the teachers. The research model is a survey research.  The study sample comprised 163 teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire with 5-point rating scales of 0.67-1.00.  The statistics used for analyzing the collected data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and the Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. The research results revealed that 1) the transformational leadership of the school administrators was practiced at high level in whole and in part  2) the job satisfaction of the teachers was at high level in whole and in part and 3) the school administrators’ transformational leadership positively and highly correlated with the job satisfaction of the teachers at the .01 level of significance.
