The Development of Science Learning Achievement and Critical Thinking Skills of Mathayomsuksa 1 Students of Wat Thamnawa School by Using Learning’s Packages about the Atmosphere

Abstract

The purposes of research aim to 1) develop the efficiency of learning’s packages about the atmosphere according to the criterion of 80/80 2) develop the science learning achievement by using learning’s packages about the atmosphere of mathayomsuksa 1 students according to the mastery learning and 3) develop the critical thinking skills by using learning’s packages about the atmosphere of mathayomsuksa 1 students according to the mastery learning. The research population consisted of 25 students who studying in mathayomsuksa 1 in the 2 semester of the academic year 2019 of Wat Thamnawa School, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The research instrument were 1) learning’s packages about the atmosphere and 3) a science achievement test and 3) a critical thinking skills test. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings were as follows: 1) the efficiency value (E1/E2) of learning’s packages about the atmosphere was at 83.60/83.80 2) the science learning achievement of 25 students (100 %) were higher than the pre-test scores and 3) the critical thinking skills of 22 students (88 %) were higher than the pre-test scores.
