Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study communities in the post-storm and flood era (The year 1962 - 1982). For qualitative research. The target groups were 16 Key from Leaders and elders in communities with knowledge of community history by select specific. The data were collected by using a set of interviews, academic articles; research reports, community documents, personal documents, local news, and field studies by observation and in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, and check the data using the triangular technique. The findings revealed as follows: Phipun District in the post-storm, and flood era has improved the area in accordance with the policy of agricultural rehabilitation by encouraging the planting of monoculture plants, such as rubber plantations. Because of the new belief that “High-income rubber plantation.” The strategy and implementation in this time are not consistent with the traditional production methods, There coupled with the low price of rubber, insufficient income to pay in the household. To be compared as “destruction.” Therefore need to search for spatial management practices that are consistent with the present. Include, Management of agricultural areas that have various fruits, and vegetables that are grown together in the same area or in the form of "Suan Somrom." And Management of agricultural areas for growing economic crops in tandem with the household production system. To be compared as “survival” in communities.
