A Confirmatory Factor of Corporate Social Responsibility of Small and Medium Enterprises in The Southern Border Provinces

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the confirmatory factors of corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises in the southern border provinces. The sample consisted of 621 small and medium-sized enterprises. Data were collected by a 5 level rating scale questionnaire to study the components of corporate social responsibility and data analysis by confirmatory factor analysis. The result of the research shows that the analysis of the components of corporate social responsibility of small and medium enterprises in the southern border provinces are 5 components which are 1) respect for humanity, 2) customer responsibility, 3) environment related, 4) business operation with fairness and 5) community and social aspects. All 5 components have an index used to check the consistency and model has a good fit to the data with CMIN = 2.385, CFI = 0.982, IFI. = 0.982, RMSEA = 0.047 and HOELTER = 352 show that the model can be used to measure social responsibility of small and medium enterprises in the southern border provinces.
