Readiness to Implement Online Learning Management Policies in Situations Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Outbreak of School in the Secondary Educational Service Area in the Lower Northern Thailand

Abstract

The purpose of this research To study the readiness to implement the online learning management policy in situations Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak of schools under The Secondary Educational Service Area in the Lower Northern Thailand. A sample were administrators and teachers in Secondary Educational Service Areas Lower northern.  All samples were selected by multi-stage stratified random sampling and the sample size followed the table of Krejcie and Morgan. The research instrument was the questionnaire and interview form. The data were analyzed exploratorily in terms of average mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The results revealed that Readiness to implement online learning management policies in situations Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak of school in The Secondary Educational Service Area in the Lower Northern Thailandoverall image which had the average in moderate level ( = 3.33). As considering in aspects, The aspect with highest level of the support of school administrators  ( =4.21). The second one is the planning of the educational service area office  ( =3.71), in tracking and evaluation ( = 3.36), in the use of media and materials ( =3.34), in the ability of teachers ( =3.28), in the learner ( =3.13), in the success of the implementation of the policy ( =3.02), and the parental support ( = 2.59), respectively. As for the interview results, it was found that The Secondary Educational Service Area and school are preparing to implement the online learning management policy in situations Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in all aspects.
